The sudden ascendacy of Tom Tancredo has been a met by the political elite with a mixture of astonishment, frustration, and fear.
No doubt they blame his high poll numbers on "backwards" Coloradoans clinging to their guns and religion.
Accordingly, their mouthpieces in the establishment media have been churning out a number of articles bashing Tancredo attempting to scare voters. They tell us Tancredo would be a "disaster".
Let us for a second consider who the real disaster for Colorado would be: left-wing Mayor John Hickenlooper.
As Governor we can be assured he would grace the state with the same 'progressive' leadership he has shown as Mayor of Denver i.e. higher taxes, job loss.
We can also assume he will probably want to take his sanctuary city policy that allows illegal immigrants who commit crimes to stay and expand it to make Colorado a sanctuary state.
Does it really make sense to make Colorado's worst mayor into America's worst governor?
By now we know what Hickenlooper thinks of "backwards" Coloradoans. On election day Colorado should show Hickenlooper what it thinks of him and send him packing.
